The Missing Link in the Development of a Comprehensive Stroke Program: Autonomous Transcranial Doppler (TCD)

May 24, 2023
10:00AM Pacific

This webinar explores the benefits of incorporating autonomous transcranial Doppler (TCD) technology into the workflow process for stroke programs in hospitals. TCD is a critical tool for monitoring blood flow in the brain for stroke management. However, to ensure seamless integration and efficient use of the technology, the implementation of autonomous TCD systems requires coordination between different disciplines, particularly neurology and cardiology. Dr. Ajay Yadlapati and Tina Villafranca discuss the advantages of using autonomous TCD in stroke care and share real-world success stories from team members and patients that have already benefitted from this technology. Dr. Yadlapati also discusses strategies to improve coordination between neurology and cardiology departments, including roles and responsibilities to ensure streamlined patient care, improved communication, and better allocation of resources.
